Language Arts
This week, we will begin our STAAR review during our class time. The students will be increasing their reading time to help build stamina for the testing day. The students will use their reading group books to complete a variety of activities on Monday and Wednesday.
Dr. Skeen, our Academic Coach, will be spending some time with us reviewing several different skills. This is such a treat to have her join our classes, and we are so excited to have her with us! On Friday, we will have Field Day with an altered schedule. Please make sure you send your child with a water bottle on Friday for Field Day.

When we return from Spring Break, we will begin a unit on the Expansion of the United States. We will be discussing how the expansion of railroads changed American life and how in the 1800's, the United States became a major world power.
