Language Arts
This week, we will finish up reviewing for STAAR. The reading STAAR test is on Wednesday, March 29th. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest/sleep the night before, eats breakfast the morning of the test, and arrives to school on time. Your child has worked extremely hard all year to prepare for this day and we are confident they are ready for the test. Please give them encouraging words and a little extra "loving" the morning of the test. Thanks for your support!!
No homework this week.
Social Studies
This week is going to be a busy week. On Tuesday, students will be taking the math STAAR. On Wednesday, students will be taking the reading STAAR. It is imperative that the students get a good night's sleep before the tests and a healthy breakfast the day of the test.
On Thursday, we will have a normal social studies day. We will be doing activities related to the southwest states. We will be talking about some of these states when we begin westward expansion the following week.
There will be no homework this week.
