Reading
This
week, we will continue to work on our poetry unit of study. We will
review figurative language and imagery. We will also dive into analyzing
narrative poetry using the elements of plot and evaluating characters
within poems. On Wednesday, we will make connections across different
types of text and genres. The students will create their own questions
from poems read in class then they will switch with other classmates.
We will use Friday to complete our week of poetry by reading poems
line-by-line to create an image in our mind then check to see if "our"
imagine matches with the "correct" imagine.
